Story of Erik the Red in King's Throne
"Erik the Red, known for his fiery temper and fiery red hair, aspired to be a great warrior as a child, just like his ancestors before him. He was exiled from his homeland in his adolescence after fatally wounding a thief in an altercation and was compelled to spend the rest of his life at sea, away from his family and newborn son. After years of living on a merchant vessel, his dedication to become a renowned explorer quickly earned him a reputation as a skilled navigator, eventually leading his own expeditions to explore new lands. The ocean, however, was far from safe, as Erik had already lost a hand and a leg in a dangerous encounter with bandits. Erik had to reassure his nervous crew that there would be no upsets this time, as they were still shaken from the previous incident, but Erik could not help to notice something odd right after setting sail; someone had been in the Captain's Quarters and left the door open..."
