Story of Midas in King's Throne

"Midas rose to power through wealth and governance and was known for his opulent displays. He often relied on his daughter Marigold's counsel, but when his obsessions grew rampant, she grew distant from him. One day, a powerful oracle known as Delphi arrived in his kingdom, claiming that she could foresee great wealth for the king. She told him to wish for the golden touch, promising to bless him with the ability to turn anything into gold. Midas demanded to receive the power of Delphi's blessing right away! He was initially elated with his newfound abilities, turning their entire royal court into a shimmering golden palace! But when he picked up a cup of wine to celebrate, his lips were met with solid gold. He realized then that his power may have come at a very great cost..."
