Story of Prince Adam in King's Throne

"Once upon a time, in a faraway land, a young prince resided in a castle. Despite having everything he desired, he was spoiled, greedy, and unkind. Having been trained by some of the finest sword fighters in the world, his boredom and arrogance spurred him to make a wager to any man who could defeat him in a duel, be rewarded his weight in gold. Because the villagers were so poor, each family sent their eldest son to fight to save their families from poverty. Unsurprisingly, no one ever won, except for one mysterious opponent who claimed to come from an unknown region. The stranger, wearing a cloak, never revealed his face. With a graceful motion, he slid through Prince Adam's swing, knocking him off balance and leading him to fall on his own sword, scarring his well-kept visage. Despite the fact that his wound was not fatal, to see the entire village laugh at his fall mortified him, compelling him to return to his castle and reside alone. That is, until he met Briella, the enchanting lady who gave his life new meaning."
