Story of Chantico in King's Throne
"Chantico was known in her village for being both sassy and stunning. Her mother once sent her to become disciplined by working with the village women, but she proved to be a nuisance who danced at any time their backs were turned. Chantico performed at the fertility festival and outshone all others, for her moves were so alluring that the flames of the bonfire danced along with her. Admirers flocked, but she refused them, for fear that sharing her heart might mean surrendering her fire. The festival's angry, rejected men plotted to swap her for the offering in the prison, reasoning that if she refused to give her heart, it was fair to take it. Her friend overheard them and immediately informed her, prompting her to flee for her life. She journeyed far and wide until she discovered this glorious kingdom that she thought might well be her new home."
